Hair is the most important part of a well nourished and groomed personality of an individual. You wear a very pretty looking dress on Christmas, but are unable to manage your hair. In such a case, the beauty of the dress also tends to vanish. For beautiful and good hair, one needs to have a continuous haircut. For a perfect haircut, the choice of a perfect shear is the most important.

Shears are specially designed tools, operated manually for hair styling purposes. There are different kinds of shears for different hairstyles available. Some shears are basically used for cutting or trimming hair whereas some shears are used for the purpose of thinning hair.

A reason why stylists choose hair shears over normal scissors is the comfort they provide while using them. It bends the hand in a natural way and hence helps getting a natural look for your hair. It bends your hand to reach the places where normal scissors have problem reaching to.

Thinning shears are basically the hair shears used by the stylists for thinning the thicker part of your hair. Even known as texture shears, they are helpful in providing textures to the hair and are available in various shapes, sizes and colors.

Single sided thinning shears have teeth at one end of the blade and consist of straight edge on the other end. Thinning shear has around 30 to 35 teeth involved. Thinning shears help getting curly hair more curly and make it easy to manage the thick hairs. Such kind of hair shears are used generally on wet or dry hair. It is advised to use single sided thinning hair shears on babies to manage their thick hair evenly.

Double sided thinning shears have teeth on both the ends. Like the single sided thinning shears, double sided shears serve the same purpose. These shears although give a fine touch in thinning the hair, can also be used for delicate and thinning baby hair.

Wide tooth thinning shear are shears used generally for dogs that have thick and shaggy hair. They consist of 10 to 15 teeth. Haircut using wide tooth shears should be done with extra care.

Hair styling when seen, seems to be an easy task by us. But, it involves a lot of concentration and hard work.
